Join us on our annual support with the community for the May Day March. May 1st is also known as International Workers Day around the world!!!

Schedule:
11:00 AM : Park and arrive at Roosevelt Park (We will have 25 spots allocated for danzantes)
12:00 PM: Opening Ceremony
1:00 PM: : March Starts from Roosevelt Park
2:00 PM: Arrive at City Hall and do closing ceremony for 20 min
2:30 PM: travel back to Roosevelt Park
We are working on some transportation to get back to Roosevelt. We will announce in practice as the date arrives.
Guidelines:
This is a March, we highly recommend you bring Guaraches/Mocassins/Cahtlis
Good some good rest the night before, have a healthy breakfast, stay hydrated
Please bring your full traje, copilli, plumas, etc.
If you dont have a traje please bring white manta w the following instruments:
1) Ixcuimecatl (paliacate/bandana), 2) Ayacaxtli (sonaja/rattle), 3) Maztla (faja/belt) and 4) Ayoyotes
Ladies please bring your ceremonial skirt
If you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick, please stay home.
Practice 6ft social distance with others outside of your household.
